Head of IT - Melbourne, Australia - Page Personnel RecruitmentOversee infrastructure, service delivery, and technical support teams.
Develop, implement, and embed ICT strategies, systems, projects, initiatives, and policies to support the organisation's objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the company's technology strategyAlign technology initiatives with business objectivesIdentify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance business operationsLead, mentor, and manage technology and spatial teamsFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvementManage technology projects from inception to completionOversee the maintenance and security of the company's IT infrastructureEnsure the reliability and performance of all technology systemsDevelop and manage the technology budgetManage relationships with technology vendors and service providersOptimise technology spending and investmentsIdentify, assess, and prioritise cyber security risks and implement robust cybersecurity measuresConduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessmentsDefine and implement best practice IT policies and proceduresDefine and maintain the IT Risk RegisterMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum 10 years' experience in leading teams and managing IT systems in a complex ICT environment, including experience in a senior technology leadership roleDemonstrated experience in managing IT infrastructure and servicesStrong understanding of current and emerging technologiesDemonstrated experience in project management and IT service managementDemonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirementsStrong people management, relationship, and stakeholder management, and communications skillsExperience presenting to Boards, sharing information with industry peers, and building relationships with external stakeholdersExperience implementing an eCommerce platformProviding technology thought leadership and continuous improvement to ensure understanding and/or implementation of the latest technology trends and tools, that align with the business vision and strategyThe ability to mentor and develop technical staffStrong decision making and written communication skillsDemonstrated skills in contract administration and monitoringKnowledge of the not-for-profit sector and agriculture sector is desirableExposure working with Adobe Commerce is desirableA leading national not-for-profit is seeking a Head of IT to develop and implement technology strategies, aligning with business objectives and managing IT infrastructure, teams, and budgets.
