Head of IT - Melbourne, Australia - Page Personnel RecruitmentDescriptionThe role of Head of IT oversees infrastructure, service delivery, and managing technical support teams.
Collaborating closely with stakeholders, it develops, implements, and embeds ICT strategies, systems, projects, initiatives, and policies to support the organisation's objectives.Reporting to the CFO, the Head of IT will be responsible for:Developing and implementing the company's technology strategyAligning technology initiatives with business objectivesIdentifying and evaluating emerging technologies to enhance business operationsLeading, mentoring and managing technology and spatial teamsFostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvementManaging technology projects from inception to completionOverseeing the maintenance and security of the company's IT infrastructureEnsuring the reliability and performance of all technology systemsDeveloping and managing the technology budgetManaging relationships with technology vendors and service providersOptimising technology spending and investmentsIdentifying, assessing and prioritising cyber security risks and implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measuresConducting regular security audits, risk assessments and vulnerability assessmentsDefining and implementing best practice IT policies and proceduresDefining and maintaining the IT Risk RegisterThe successful applicant will ideally possess:A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related fieldA minimum of 10 years' experience in leading teams and managing IT systems in a complex ICT environment, including experience in a senior technology leadership roleDemonstrated experience in managing IT infrastructure and servicesA strong understanding of current and emerging technologiesDemonstrated experience in project management and IT service managementDemonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirementsStrong people management, relationship and stakeholder management, and communications skillsExperience presenting to Boards, sharing information with industry peers, and building relationships with external stakeholdersExperience implementing an eCommerce platformProviding technology thought leadership and continuous improvement to ensure understanding and/or implementation of the latest technology trends and tools, that align with the business vision and strategyThe ability to mentor and develop technical staffStrong decision making and written communication skillsDemonstrated skills in contract administration and monitoringKnowledge of the not-for-profit sector and agriculture sector is desirableExposure working with Adobe Commerce is desirable #J-18808-Ljbffr
