The Head of IT will lead and manage the Technology team, maintaining a high-quality, cost-effective, and responsive IT infrastructure that supports Genea's business objectives. Key responsibilities include overseeing IT system development, ensuring optimal service delivery, leading cross-functional teams, managing IT projects, driving change management, and maintaining robust cybersecurity protocols.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in a management role, leading IT teams and strategies, with a strong track record in project management and change management initiatives. Relevant qualifications include tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related fields, and excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Previous experience in the healthcare business sector is highly desirable.
The Head of IT will oversee the technology strategy and implementation for the firm, ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of IT systems are maintained. This role will have the responsibility of managing vendors and external stakeholders, making changes and improvements to the IT infrastructure.
