The Head of IT will oversee the technology strategy and implementation for the firm, ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of IT systems are maintained. This role will have the responsibility of managing vendors and external stakeholders, making changes and improvements where necessary. The role will collaborate with partners and staff to enhance operational effectiveness and support the firm's growth through technology.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with the firms' objectives;Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment;Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software applications;Security Oversight: Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive client data and firm information;Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service quality;Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet the firm's needs;Compliance: Ensure that all IT operations comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to data protection and confidentiality;Training & Support: Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and tools, promoting a culture of continuous improvement;Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions;Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, and document management systems;Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive organisational change;Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders.How to Apply
