What We're Looking For: Proven Leadership: You have a track record of managing high-performing teams and driving successful cloud and infrastructure projects in large-scale environments.Cloud & On-Prem Expertise: Strong experience with Azure and hybrid environments, coupled with expertise in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware), containerization tools, and network architecture, including firewalls and load balancers.Comprehensive Knowledge: A solid understanding of both on-premises and cloud-based storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS, S3) and familiarity with identity and access management solutions.Payments & POS Systems Knowledge: Experience with payment systems and point-of-sale technologies is essential for this role.Automation & Security: Proven ability to streamline processes through automation, and deep knowledge of security frameworks like NIST and ISO, as well as compliance requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA.Innovative Mindset: You bring fresh ideas and a passion for leveraging technology to solve real-world challenges, focusing on creating scalable, efficient solutions.Key Responsibilities: People: Build and manage a team of desktop, systems and network engineers as they drive efficiencies across close to 100 different locations.Cloud & Infrastructure Leadership: Oversee cloud platforms and infrastructure strategies, driving innovation while ensuring the reliability of both on-premise and cloud environments.POS & Payment Systems Expertise: Ensure the integration and optimization of POS and payment systems to support seamless transactions across diverse business venues.Strategic Management: Develop and execute strategies for your team, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of infrastructure.Project Oversight: Lead key infrastructure and cloud projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence while managing vendor relationships and technical partnerships.Security & Compliance Leadership: Ensure security protocols align with regulatory requirements, manage incident response, and drive the organisation's disaster recovery strategy.This is a role where your expertise won't just be valued—it will be instrumental in driving the company's success.
