Our client is looking for an Identified Women to join their dedicated team.About the RoleThis pivotal leadership position is responsible for guiding research translation, program design, and implementation within a trauma-informed framework.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role ensures that lived expertise is embedded across all functions, influencing innovative solutions to address the impacts of domestic, family, and sexual violence.Key Responsibilities:Co-design and implement interventions that reflect lived expertise.Lead knowledge translation and contribute to impactful publications.Develop evaluation frameworks, analyze data, and inform decision-making.Build strategic partnerships with government, community, and industry stakeholders.Supervise and mentor a team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in all programs and services.Essential:Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field.Experience in program design, knowledge translation, and evaluation.Leadership experience managing complex, collaborative projects.Strong understanding of feminist principles and social justice.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Driver's license and access to a vehicle.Desirable:Experience working with First Nations communities and understanding cultural protocols.Expertise in trauma-informed care and practice.Prior involvement in co-design or participatory research methodologies.Familiarity with policy development and advocacy in the domestic and family violence sector.Experience in delivering training or capacity-building initiatives for multidisciplinary teams.Knowledge of intersectional approaches to supporting marginalized communities.Understanding of challenges faced by rural and remote communities in accessing support services.Advanced proficiency in project management tools and software.Demonstrated success in securing funding through grants or partnerships.Background in working with multicultural communities, including refugees and migrants.Why Join?This role provides the opportunity to shape meaningful programs that empower survivors and drive systemic change while being part of a forward-thinking team committed to embedding lived expertise and fostering diversity.This position is Aboriginal identified.
