About the role We are seeking applications for the position of Head of House (Years 10 to 12) commencing in Term 3. This is a full time, fixed term parental leave replacement until the end of Term 2, 2025 with the possibility of an ongoing appointment.This is a position of leadership with a teaching load. This role oversees students' wellbeing and pastoral care in Years 10 to 12 in their House. It is responsible for delivering and leading the Wellbeing Program to these students. The Head of House builds and promotes House spirit and culture, being faithful to the traditions of our founders after whom their House is named. They direct and support student leaders and foster positive relationships with families and communities to support the learning and wellbeing of students. They are the primary contact for families concerning student wellbeing and ensuring the appropriate communications are disseminated, and responsibilities delegated to the relevant staff. This is a parental leave replacement. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to best practice in teaching and a goal-oriented and evidence-based approach to improving student learning outcomes.
