The opportunity A wonderful opportunity to join one of Tasmania's leading wellbeing schools. In this role you are the "hub of the wheel" for our students and their families. The Head of House is a pivotal role to the success of Grammar students meeting their pastoral and wellbeing needs. In recognition of the complexity of this work, we are the only school in Tasmania to offer a unique load of 0.5FTE teaching load and 0.5FTE release time. Committed to being Tasmania's leading wellbeing school, we have structured this role to provide you with the time and resources needed to lead a vibrant and dynamic House community.
As the Head of House, you will lead a House team of Tutors, who also receive time recognition in teaching loads for their support of the House program. As well as teaching our explicit wellbeing curriculum to Grades 8-10, contributing to our mission of being Tasmania's leading wellbeing school.
This is an essential wellbeing leadership position offering a balance of administrative duties and engaging with students, the chance to manage both the house efficiently and connect personally with students.
