Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute to leading the academic, pastoral care, wellbeing and activities of a thriving girls Boarding community?This exciting new position will see you collaborate with the Head of Boarding and Deputy Head of Boarding with a focus on enriching the academic, wellbeing and personal development of Years 5 – 8 boarders as well as the curation and oversight of a diverse and rewarding activities program for all boarders. This permanent, full-time, term-time position will see you on-call three weekends per term, and alongside boarders' (Years 5 – 8) on non-call weekends.
This position will spread across the working days of Wednesday to Sunday with the arrangement of weekends taken on Monday and Tuesday. This position will commence from January 2025. Developing positive relationships with boarding staff, students and parents, you will build high level relational trust and maintain a safe and happy home for our boarders. The Head of Holden Hall – Activities Co-ordinator will bring a history of pastoral care and wellbeing experience, be committed to the full experience of working within a boarding community and have the innate ability to empathise with the needs of adolescent girls. Prior experience in a School Boarding environment is highly advantageous. Due to the nature of the position, female applicants need only to apply.
It is a mandatory requirement to hold a current Paid Working with Children Blue Card and ABSA Duty of Care Course Qualifications.
