About Our Client Our ASX-listed client is a high-growth, global business.
They are currently undergoing a number of continuous improvement initiatives and hence are looking for a strategic payroll leader to guide them through this period of change.
Our client offers fantastic WFH flexibility (can do 1 or 2 days in the office and 3 or 4 days WFH).
While the head office is based in Melbourne, we are happy to consider candidates nationally.
Job Description Drive the strategic vision for global payroll function, including standardising and optimising global payroll administration, processes, systems and reporting.Oversee teams for global payroll administration; develop and manage team members to become best in class talent.Own and manage relationships with external global payroll service providers and hold them accountable to performance standards; maintain up-to-date purchase orders and track to overall payroll budget.Drive and manage projects such as M&A payroll integration, planning and implementing new country entry, payroll and time tracking system changes and migration.Foster outstanding cross-functional relationships; working closely with People Services, Benefits, Legal, Global Mobility and Finance teams.Oversight in payroll related input into monthly, quarter and year-end close activities; including understanding of payroll GL reporting, journal entries and reconciliations.Improve payroll policies, practices and procedures to ensure compliance, efficiency, and standardization across legal entities.Manage payroll audit inquiries from both internal and external audit parties.
Work with tax agencies and payroll service providers to resolve external tax issues and audits.The Successful Applicant We are seeking experienced payroll leaders with a passion for continuous improvement.
Candidates who have worked in senior roles within big 4, outsource payroll providers, or global business will be looked upon favourably.
