The primary purpose is the provision of expert geotechnical engineering advice to teams in Las Bambas, Dugald River, Rosebery, Khoemacau, and Kinsevere. This role plays a critical part in operational outcomes, safety, collaboration, and best practices.Working across open pit and underground operations, and a range of deposit types including sediment hosted Cu-Co, porphyry skarn Cu-Mo-Au, and stratiform pyritic Zn-Pb-Cu-Ag-Au, this is a rare opportunity for a thought leader who has the engineering agility and dexterity to navigate this diverse landscape.To be considered, applicants must be qualified as a geotechnical engineer and have extensive design and engineering experience across commodities, mining methods, and deposit types relevant to MMG. Expertise in the provision of advice and governance across multiple assets is highly regarded, together with the ability to develop and maintain relationships within operational and corporate teams.This position is preferably located in Melbourne, Adelaide, or Brisbane, Australia, or an alternative location within MMG's global asset and support office footprint.
