Our client recycles construction waste to create performance engineered circular construction materials and solutions; sustainability and the circular economy are core to its business. This is a value-driven organisation looking to engage a Head of Finance who will be based at Wetherill Park, reporting to the CEO, and will form part of the executive team. Experience of working in a privately owned company that has undergone transformation and growth will be highly relevant.
The candidate must have strong financial experience and robust knowledge of corporate governance, with a formal qualification in Accounting/Finance with CA/CPA and/or MBA. The candidate must be a pragmatic leader with experience gained in the construction industry or industrial/manufacturing sectors. Playing a critical role in the overall financial management and strategic direction of the company, the position is responsible for leading the finance team, initially hands-on with day-to-day financial operations to gain a comprehensive understanding of financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
As a key member of the executive team, the focus of this position is collaborating with other leaders to drive the company's strategic vision and operational effectiveness. Essential is a proven ability to establish 'next generation' systems and processes that enable growth agility, including sales and operations planning, activity-based costing, and customer and product profitability.
