Head of Finance
(CFO) to join their leadership team.
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Finance will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and robust governance across the organisation.
Collaborating with the CEO and the Head of OSHC Services, you will shape Jabiru's financial strategies and contribute to its continued growth and success.
This is a hands-on role for a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to address immediate challenges.

Optimise Operational Efficiency : Streamline financial and operational processes to improve day-to-day workflows and create a more responsive and agile finance function.Develop a Comprehensive Pricing Methodology : Design and implement a transparent pricing strategy that ensures the sustainability of services and supports Jabiru's mission.Enhance Reporting Frameworks : Lead the development of accurate, timely, and actionable reporting systems across all levels of the organisation to empower better decision-making.Leverage Data for Decision-Making : Use data insights to identify opportunities for growth, refine processes, and drive evidence-based strategies.Support Strategic Growth Initiatives : Evaluate and forecast the financial impacts of new contracts and service opportunities, ensuring alignment with Jabiru's strategic goals.Strengthen Financial Governance : Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and compliance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory and best practice standards.About YouTo excel in this role, you will have:
Proven senior leadership experience in finance, ideally within a not-for-profit or mission-driven organisation.Strong skills in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.Demonstrated ability to optimise operational efficiency and streamline processes.Experience developing pricing strategies and improving data-driven decision-making.Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with boards, executive leaders, and external stakeholders.CA/CPA qualifications (or equivalent).A Blue Card (or ability to obtain one) as part of Jabiru's commitment to child safety.Why Join Jabiru?
