The Head of Finance will play a key role as part of the Strategy and Impact Senior Leadership Team, leading a high-performing financial management and advisory function to drive the achievement of UCWB's strategic goals. This role will be instrumental in fostering a strong organisational culture by championing the implementation of UCWB's core values. Additionally, the role will oversee the integrity and accuracy of UCWB's financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, management, and taxation obligations. The position will also involve shaping the strategic and operational direction of financial management, enhancing leadership capabilities within the senior team and across the organization. This includes leading the implementation of a new finance system for the organization. This leader will manage the Finance Department and regularly present to the Board on matters related to budgeting, financial management, and investments.

The ideal candidate will hold a professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA), relevant tertiary qualifications, and a proven track record in senior leadership. Experience within the not-for-profit sector is highly desirable. You will bring strong leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to foster effective, cohesive teams. Your excellent communication and engagement skills, coupled with your strategic mindset, will be essential in achieving success in this role.
