Seeking a committed and experienced Educational Leader on a full-time ongoing basis:
Head of Faculty (SMDTT) Science, Math, Digital Technology and Technology The Head of Faculty plays a vital role in driving excellence and innovation within the Secondary School; committed to enhancing teaching and learning outcomes while fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities Lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives Participate in delivering the vision of the College Develop the quality of teaching and learning Pedagogical Leadership Staff Management and Development Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, and stakeholders.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications 4 years Education degree Current Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility to apply).
Extensive knowledge of teaching strategies to achieve optimal learning outcomes for students Excellent technological literacy The ability to work collaboratively and energetically within a high-performing school culture Qualifications and Essential Criteria required Current full registration as a Teacher in Queensland.
Extensive teaching experience in the relevant subject area(s) with a demonstrated track record of excellence in pedagogy and student outcomes.
Previous leadership experience, such as a head of department or similar role, is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse educational environment.
