About the RoleAs the Head of Events Management in the Customer Resolution, Remediation & Assurance Portfolio, you are responsible for leading the Event Management Program of work and driving the transition of uplifted Event Management Practices into BAU. The purpose of this role is to:
Ensure the delivery of our Event Management Program of work, working with our internal and external experts to review and assess historical events, ensuring internal and regulatory expectations are being met with respect to Events Management.Running in parallel to the Program, designing and implementing uplifted Event Management practices to ensure effective operation of events management in BAU.Role Type: Permanent

Work Hours: Full-time What will your day look like?As a Head of Events Management, your accountabilities under the Events Management Program of Work will include:
Act as business lead for the Events Management Program of work, ensuring the review and delivery of relevant events to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Lead a team of ANZ Event Managers in reviewing historical events (incidents) to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and regulatory standards.Act as business lead for external consultants/experts that are supporting with the project, including leading governance activities, project workshops and project financials.Develop reporting and provide updates to key senior leaders on project status, key deliverables, etc.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Extensive years of experience in Operational and Compliance Risk Management, including experience across key Operational and Compliance Risk Areas such as Risk Assessments, Risk Profiles, Controls, Events (Incidents) & Issue management and Change Risk (Risk in Change).Have a sound understanding of risk and compliance frameworks.Stakeholder management: The systematic identification, analysis, planning and implementation of actions designed to engage with stakeholders. Demonstrated experience working closely with Executives and senior stakeholders, influencing and gaining buy in.Analytical Capabilities and Data Visualisation: The ability to undertake robust analytical assessments and present reporting on risk management topics, with specific experience related to Events (Incidents) and Issues.A strong understanding of the business, including its operational, risk and commercial aspects to support informed decision making.Written & Oral Communication Skills: The ability to contextualise insights for decision makers and partners. It involves crafting persuasive, factual, and focused communications that combine data, visuals and narrative to communicate insights.Feedback management: The ability to elicit, manage and respond to feedback from others (including colleagues, users and/or customers) so that they feel like their voice has been heard.Team: Experience leading, motivating and managing various program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
