Head of Events, Communications and MarketingNorthern Territory Cricket Ltd is the peak sporting body for cricket in the Territory.
As custodians of the sport, we work closely with Cricket Australia, the seven other State & Territory Associations and our members to serve and grow the game.

About the roleReporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Events, Communications and Marketing is a key senior leadership role that is primarily accountable for:
Leading the planning and delivery of international, national and community cricket events throughout the Territory.Delivering strategies, initiatives and collateral that markets and promotes cricket in the Territory.Providing a range of internal and external communication services across traditional (broadcast, radio, print) and non-traditional media (digital, social).The role is critical to growing cricket's presence, brand and reputation in the Territory, as well as helping drive increased participation, engagement and commercialisation.
You will do this by delivering world class events, facilitating brilliant experiences, forming strong connections with key stakeholders, and telling our story to a broader audience in a creative and dynamic way.
On the cusp of international cricket returning to the Territory for the first time in over 15 years, as well as the rapid growth of the Top End T20 Series, there has never been a more exciting time to join.
About youRelevant tertiary qualifications in Event Management, Communications, Marketing or related field (essential).Demonstrated experience in leading, growing and delivering sporting events or equivalent (Minimum - 3 years).Demonstrated ability to delegate and lead a team of varied functional areas across a business to deliver a project.Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and events with competing priorities and deadlines.Experience in strategic planning for events, including project plans, marketing plans and setting and monitoring of KPIs and objectives.Experience in the principles, practices and techniques of campaign development, creative practices and digital marketing.Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills conducive to building effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.Practical knowledge and experience of communication and marketing tools and processes, including the use of a diverse range of media.Experience and exposure working across various mediums including broadcast, digital, print and radio.Excellent problem solver and lateral thinker, with an ability to stay calm, think on your feet and deliver under pressure.Demonstrated self-starter with an exceptional drive and work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Essential RequirementsDrivers LicenceApplication InstructionYour application should be sent to .
