You won't be required to code, but you will be required to hold your own technical discussions with some really talented engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to drive technical excellence and innovation while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.Collaborate closely with product management and other departments to make sure engineering efforts support broader company goals.Oversee resource allocation, timelines, and task prioritisation to guarantee projects are completed on time.Set clear standards and best practices, establishing a benchmark for quality across all initiatives.Foster creativity and encourage the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance product development and drive innovation.Implement and manage agile methodologies to balance speed, quality, and technical debt.Provide strategic insights on technology choices, build vs. buy decisions, and long-term technical roadmaps.Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, offering opportunities for team development and advancement.Location: Sydney CBD (2-3 days in the office)Interview Process: 3 stages (approx 2.5 - 3.5 hours in total)Please apply and we will set up an initial call to talk through the role in more detail.
