About this Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager Aviation, as the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for the leadership of the engineering department and will ensure the aircraft fleet are maintained in accordance with the RFDS SA / NT procedures and practices.
Specifically, you will:
Coordinate and manage aircraft engineering activities, at all four maintenance bases.
Provide leadership, training and guidance to the Engineering function.
Develop operational plans that align with the delivery of RFDS SA / NT strategic objectives.
About You
You are:
Experienced in the leadership of an aircraft engineering team.
Able to actively develop own capabilities and technical expertise.
Passionate about supporting the development and growth of others.
To be considered for the role you require:
CASA Licence / s for type-rated turbine aircraft appropriate to RFDS SA / NT fleet.
Extensive experience in the maintenance of aircraft with a commitment to service delivery.
Well-developed leadership skills.
