The Head of Engineering will ensure that the Engineering function stays at the forefront of innovation by leading a high-performing engineering team that delivers innovative solutions for their customers.
Job Description The Head of Engineering will be responsible for:
Overseeing and optimising a diverse technology stack, which includes C++, Java, TypeScript/Angular, Python, Perl, .NET, Salesforce, and AWSImproving Product DeliveryManaging a global engineering teamDriving transformational changeImplementing a mature Agile methodology across engineering teams to enhance flexibility, productivity, and responsivenessActing as a key liaison between engineering and internal stakeholdersEnsuring effective collaboration between onshore and offshore teams, driving the delivery of current and future objectives while embedding a culture of accountability and innovationThe Successful Applicant As the successful candidate you will ideally possess:
Previous experience in a Head of Engineering or similar positionProven experience in leading engineering teams in a technology-driven environmentStrong background in Agile methodologies and project managementExpertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and architectural design principlesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in presenting to executive stakeholdersRelevant qualifications in Computer Science or EngineeringExperience in process optimisationChange Management - proven experience leading teams through organisational changeStrong leadership and team-building skillsAdaptability to lead transformational change in a complex environmentStrategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solvingExcellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilitiesWhat's on Offer Global Technology Leader.
