About the job
Reporting to the Chief of Orygen Digital, you will:
Lead the architecture and development of backend and frontend systems, ensuring integration of safe, secure, scalable, and innovative technology.Drive the development of secure, reliable, and innovative technical architectures aligned with Orygen Digital's goals, emphasising seamless user experiences and the integration of emerging technologies like AI to transform mental health support.Support product excellence and growth by ensuring technical operations meet safety and governance standards, while enabling cutting-edge research and continuous evaluation of digital mental health interventions.Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:
Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in software engineering, IT, or a related field.Experience: Extensive leadership in developing and scaling complex software solutions, especially in digital health or similar sectors.Technical Expertise: Hands-on with backend (Python, Node.js) and frontend (Vue.js) technologies; expertise in AWS, including Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.Development Knowledge: Proficiency in RESTful APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines with automation and testing frameworks.Database Skills: Experience with MySQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
