These changes will deliver a more contemporary and sustainable scheme to make sure it continues to support Victorian workers in the future. The Return to Work Victoria business unit has been established to develop and deliver early intervention and support for workers to return to work. Four new Functions have been established, bringing together existing Divisions. The new functions are: Delivery Operations, Partners & Providers, Enablement and Performance & Operational Strategy with a staff cohort of around 400 professionals.
The Return to Work Victoria Business Unit Leadership Team will focus on redesigning how people, processes and technology interact to improve the experience and outcomes of injured workers and ultimately a sustainable scheme for the benefit of all Victorians.
Reporting to the Executive Director of the business unit, the Head of Enablement will lead the direction, engagement and delivery of the business unit's strategic and operational programs aimed at returning injured workers to work. They will align resources and initiatives across the business unit to execute on the strategic plan.
The Head of Enablement will provide executive leadership and oversee the establishment and leadership for Return to Work Innovations, Business Services & Enablement and Scheme Reform functions. The role will enhance inter-divisional collaboration to assist the business unit in the provision of contemporary workplace injury insurance solutions.
Working in collaboration with the Senior Leadership team, the Head of Enablement will oversee projects, programs and new systems established to support the scheme sustainability, scheme performance and implantation of legislative reform. The position will proactively identify opportunities for the future, assessing current viability and forming systems and guidelines for implementation of key projects that underpin the achievement of the strategy,
The successful candidate will have a background and expertise in private and public personal injury insurance organisations, Government insurance, and other personal injury schemes. This is ideally gained in a complex and dynamic environment that requires the capability to proactively identify and respond to continually evolving challenges and opportunities. With strong program and project management experience, you will have demonstrated experience in driving large scale operational and cultural change programs. You will be well versed in driving outcomes within a sensitive environment. As a self-directed leader, you will show foresight, have strategic capability and drive change initiatives collaboratively, with an eye to quality and detail.
