The Role:  As the Head of Employee Technology services you will have responsibility for shaping the future direction of how Medibank delivers a fast, consistent, reliable and cost-effective technology experience for all Medibank employees to enable them to deliver on our organisational purpose.  The Head of Technology is accountable for the leadership, management and strategic decision making of a community of IT professionals and technology partners to deliver an optimised and quality technology experience for Medibank employees. The role itself has 5 key pillars of Accountability including IT Service Management, End user computing, Employee Software, User on/off/cross boarding & User support channels.
The Responsibilities: Develop a roadmap and key performance indicators to deliver a step change uplift in the quality of employee technology services.  Develop business cases to drive investment in continuous improvement and act as a key technology partner for corporate hubs shaping strategic goals through technology.  Ensure effective operationalisation of user access management tools & processes deliver as part of the ITSU.  Develop people, process, and technology capabilities to underpin the deliver of all services within the team. Partner with major vendors, service providers and key technology partners for cost effective delivery of services.  Delivery high quality, cost effective and safe IT service management using metrics and voice of customer to drive continuous improvement across Incident, Change, Asset & Configuration Management as well as Service request. Work with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to build technology roadmaps for employee technology estate. Participate in Enterprise Technology Services Leadership team meetings and establish strong and collaborative relationships with multiple divisions. Build and lead a strong team to deliver on Medibank strategic priorities and Enterprise Delivery Goals.  Recruit, manage and assess the performance of staff as well as provide continual coaching, mentoring and effective employee engagement.  About You:  Extensive experience in IT Service Management including significant leadership experience. Highly developed stakeholder management skills with an ability to coach and influence people across all levels of the organisation to achieve desired results. Proven experience of data driven decision making, utilizing analytics to make strategic decisions.  Experience with the application of ITIL best practice to delivery high quality service management  High level of experience developing IT Service Management roadmaps and working with multiple parties to create solutions.  A career with us At Medibank, we believe work is something we do, not somewhere we go.
