Due to rapid growth, we are looking for a Head of E-commerce Trading to help drive the trading sites to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
Manage & lead the e-commerce & digital teams Develop & deliver the annual trading calendar alongside our Buying, Product & Merchandise teams Own all of the site's metrics while constantly working on improving them Drive initiatives through pricing, promotions & new trading opportunities Constantly improve user journeys for optimal customer experience across multiple regions Manage the development roadmap based on the company's projections & needs Attend & Report in weekly trade meetings, providing metrics & insights to the wider team Strong technical knowledge of e-commerce front end & back end with exceptional problem solving skills during technical issues You will be responsible for the execution of the activity plan across desktop, tablet, mobile devices to gain maximum visitor attention and drive sales and margin, improving average transaction size, and order frequency Using web analytics tools to monitor performance of all the key metrics and make recommendations for change and feed this back to other managers, Head of Department and Directors as appropriate Key responsibilities include merchandising all products to maximise sales and cross-sell/up-sell and site aesthetics, within brand guidelines You will manage all onsite content and make sure the sites are aligned with SEO best practices You will review onsite search behaviour to gain an understanding of keyword queries and manipulate the products within the search pages to drive conversion Develop testing roadmap and user testing for UX/CRO. You will monitor AB tests and analyse results and present findings You will be responsible for ensuring that user experience is optimum at all times working with external & internal resources Develop and drive the ecommerce strategy, ensuring best practice to increase customer engagement and conversion
Requirements
Strong people management experience including growing and developing talent Experience in managing large global ecommerce platforms, with proven sales growth results Experience using Shopify Plus platform Experience with leading merchandising tools HTML, CSS and basic coding technical skills Knowledge of SEO, website optimisation, data mining and security Knowledge of buying, merchandising and range planning processes Strong planning, project management and organisational skills
