DescriptionHead of Discipline - Piping & Mechanical We are recruiting for a permanent role based in Perth CBD, available on a full-time or part-time (job share) basis.
As Head of Discipline - Piping & Mechanical, you will lead an established team and drive engineering excellence across multiple long-term engineering service contracts with our key clientele.
About the RoleYou will report to the Head of Engineering - Asia Pacific West and be responsible for the Piping & Mechanical engineering function, leading teams both locally and across the region and supporting multi-discipline engineering projects on brownfield offshore/onshore assets.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for energy security and energy transition, with the vision to navigate energy models of the future.
Manage and lead discipline engineering teams on assigned scopes of work.Manage key stakeholders in the execution and delivery of contracted activities.Coordinate and complete engineering and start-up aspects of projects while meeting HSSE, quality, schedule, and budget performance goals.Develop and retain motivated and competent people.Undertake the role of process owner.Drive safety by design and lead on opportunities for innovation.In this highly visible role, you will bring to life Wood's three pillar strategy of Inspired Culture, Delivery Excellence, and Profitable Growth on the Contract.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Discipline Manager role with relevant experience in successful operational and strategic delivery for a complex contract/portfolio within the Oil & Gas sector.
