Perth Zoo is achieving outstanding conservation outcomes, and we invite you to make a meaningful impact with us.About the JobThe Head of Development at Perth Zoo is responsible for developing and providing leadership and management for the fundraising program. This newly developed role involves collaborating with the Board and Executive team to actively seek and secure financial support from individuals, corporates, and foundations, with a focus on securing and stewarding major donations. We are seeking someone with a proven track record as the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving year-on-year increases in funds raised for the Zoo's impressive conservation and animal welfare work.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement fundraising strategies and programs that align with the Perth Zoo Master Plan.Lead fundraising initiatives critical to the execution of major projects outlined in the Master Plan.Establish and lead a team of fundraising experts.At Perth Zoo, we have adopted Leadership Expectations which provides a common understanding of the mindsets and expected behaviours required of all our employees and the public sector.
