Our client is a leading Australian developer with a high-performing development team that is kept busy acquiring and delivering residential apartment and mixed-use developments in Sydney. They have a development pipeline of over 5000 apartments and their development team is stable and well led by their Head of Development.
The role
Due to growth within the business, this is a newly created role for a Head of Design Management to join the team and support all stakeholders throughout phases of a development project, predominantly focussed on the pre-delivery stage. Key responsibilities will include:
Maintain Design Standards throughout all Stages of the Design Cycle Prepare Project Briefs for Design Teams, Financiers, & Govt Agencies Supporting Reviews of New Business & Site Acquisitions Provide Advice to the Head of Development on Design Implementation Liaising & Negotiating with Stakeholders, e.g. Councils, Govt & Consultants Skills & experience
To be considered for this exciting opportunity it is essential that you have 10 + years experience in design management on medium to large-scale multi-unit residential and mixed-use projects. Other key requirements include:
Tertiary Qualifications in Architecture Understating of ADG, DCP, DBP Act, RAB Act & LEP Planning Guidelines Ability to Sketch & Hand Draw Design Concepts Proven Design Work on Multi-Residential & Mixed-Use Projects Experience Managing Multiple Major Projects in Delivery Benefits
