We have a Head of Design / Design Manager opportunity available for an experienced head designer, and design manager looking to move into a new role with a successful and growing Fitout company based in Sydney's beautiful Lower North Shore.

This opening will suit an experienced design manager that is looking for a role that will challenge you in your team leadership skills but also tap into your creative side.
You are looking to manage a small team of designers but you still want the opportunity to be hands-on with the design as well.
You need to be happy and comfortable with attending the presentations of the projects you are working on,
You will need to have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in design. The team needs someone with extensive experience to help lead them in getting the job done.
You are looking to settle in with a growing and busy company, with a vibrant team of people that pride themselves on creating beautiful spaces for their clients.
Remuneration
Regarding salary, the package provided is based on experience, the salary on offer is between
$140k - $180k + Super Pay packages will be worked out directly with the successful applicant._ Duties & Responsibilities
This role has become available due to the company expanding and taking on more work.
This is a full-time role, and you will be required to work Monday to Friday.
Your general duties will include;
Managing the workload of a small group of people. You will be responsible for 1 x snr designer and 2 x juniors.You will need to ensure that you and your team meet the deadlines for the designs.You will be across the progress of the projectsYou will need to attend the major presentations of the projects that you are working on.You are still hands on, you will have the opportunity to not just lead your team, but also use your creative side in actively working on the designs.Your software skills will include being proficient in both AutoCAD and Revit. as well as photoshop.Previous experience and relevant qualifications are a
