This pivotal role will lead a faculty encompassing all elements of The Arts curriculum across Years 7 to 12.

About the Role: Head of Department for The Arts will:
Demonstrate initiative and play a leading role in supporting students' learning and the effective delivery of the Arts curriculum.Lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives.Participate in delivering the vision of Early Childhood and State Schools Division.Develop the quality of teaching and learning.Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.Responsibilities include: Lead a team of educators and support the school to drive the strategic agenda focused on developing assessment capable learners.Embed socially just practices in daily school life.Set high standards for student and staff performance.Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.Be futures oriented and strategic.Interested?
