Become part of the dedicated team at Charters Towers School of Distance Education and make a meaningful impact as our Head of Department - Student Services. In this role, you will provide advice, management and engagement strategies to develop the quality of teaching and learning. You will nurture positive relationships between students,teachers, community, and stakeholders.

About the School Our school was the first Distance Education school to open in Queensland in 1987 and still leads in the use of technology to enable communication with our students and their tutors. We use traditional means of communication like mail and telephone as well as audio-teleconferencing, video, and the Internet to cross the barriers of distance and create the bonds of a school community. We prepare people for the future.
About the Role As part of the leadership team, the successful applicant will support and lead a culture of inclusion; co-lead a whole school framework of differentiation; will partner with Deputy Principal in implementing decisions and initiatives to achieve strategic priorities for inclusion and differentiation. They will mentor staff in inclusive practices and promote an inclusive environment that supports students and their learning needs.
