An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and dynamic educator to join the team at Miles State High School as Head of Department (Secondary) with a focus on Student Engagement.
This role is offered on a full-time temporary basis, until 27 June 2025, unless otherwise determined.

About Miles State High School Miles State High School is located at the northern end of Pine Street, Miles. The school draws students from the town of Miles and surrounding rural areas, including small feeder schools from Condamine, Drillham, Dulacca, Guluguba, and Wandoan.

Focus on initiatives to support the educational outcomes for students.Incorporate the vision of Early Childhood and State Schools Division into school planning.Develop the quality of teaching and learning.Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, and the community.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
