An exciting opportunity exists for a full-time temporary Head of Department, Student Engagement to commence at Baringa State Primary School from 23 January to 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.

Baringa State Primary School opened in 2018, catering for students from Prep to Year 6.

About the Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may have a disadvantaged background, ensuring quality learning outcomes for all students.Where requested, prepare all data returns for senior management.Monitor students' individual performance and behaviour and develop and implement intervention strategies where necessary.Communicate and work with parents, higher education institutes and State Schools Division to improve learning outcomes, student achievements and attendance.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
