About the Role:Tannum Sands State High School has strong partnerships with external learning providers, industry and the community to deliver university, apprenticeships and training opportunities to our students throughout their senior phase of learning.
This role will be responsible for the leadership and management of our senior students, curriculum offerings and VET courses and partnerships.
The successful applicant will be required to work closely with existing members of the Senior Secondary team to ensure students have access to individualised pathways, leading to QCE and ATAR / VET attainment.You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks: Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.Embed socially just practices in daily school life.Set high standards for student and staff performance.Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.Be futures oriented and strategic.
