Selection Criteria
Demonstrates and displays an understanding of the Islamic ethos of the school, supporting the school's philosophy, values, beliefs, and mission whilst contributing to a caring and supportive environment for all students, parents, and staff.
Ability to teach and model to the school community the religious beliefs of the school.
Ability to embed the MFIS vision and educational philosophy effectively, resulting in successful outcomes for all learners.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to engage in continuous learning to embed the Islamic worldview and pedagogy.
NESA accredited teacher with a strong understanding of the curriculum with recent experience in Stage 6.
Relevant experience in a similar coordinator role is preferred, but not essential.
Excellence in curriculum design, innovation and implementation, including the integration of appropriate digital technologies that support student learning.
Ability to provide dynamic and strong leadership, mentoring and support for teachers in the curriculum area.
Ability to provide regular formal and informal feedback on staff performance, including a formal review against staff performance and development goals.
Strong communication skills coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate effectively and build relationships with key stakeholders.
