We are seeking a Head of Department (Secondary) with a focus on Maths to join our school community on a full-time temporary basis, until 12 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

Driving excellence in curriculum and pedagogy, the Head of Department (Secondary) with a focus on Maths leads a range of curriculum including Specialist Maths, Mathematical Methods, General Maths, Essential Maths and 7-10 Maths.
Your Role Lead curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and moderation practices across the faculty.Collect, analyse and interpret data to improve student achievement and engagement.Support teachers to achieve high standards and to develop their capacity through professional learning, coaching and feedback.Form collaborative partnerships with relevant industry and external organisations to drive innovative STEM agendas within our school.Support, model and coach teachers in classroom management techniques to enhance student engagement.About the Department of Education The Department of Education is dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the community and schools we support by treating everyone with respect and dignity.
