This position will lead a committed staff to review current curriculum offerings in line with new and emerging technologies.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the 0.8FTE Head of Department to lead the continued development of programs, systems and processes to optimise improved learning outcomes.
Courses of study within this faculty include, Design & Digital Technologies and their associated senior pathway subjects.
This position also includes Cert III in Aviation and Business Studies across 7-12.
The successful candidate will require a broad range of leadership capabilities and will have the drive, passion and commitment necessary to continue to lead Kilcoy State High School staff and students on a journey from great to excellent.
About the School: A little over an hour from Brisbane, Kilcoy is surrounded by a scenic landscape of rolling hills and rugged mountain ranges with views over the northern reaches of Lake Somerset.

About the Role You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.Embed socially just practices in daily school life.Set high standards for student and staff performance.Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.A mandatory requirement of this role is: Current full registration, or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
