An exciting opportunity exists for a Head of Department (Humanities/Business) to join Tannum Sands State High School to commence 23 January 2025.
This position is offered on a temporary full-time basis until 27 June 2025, unless otherwise determined.

About Tannum Sands State High School Tannum Sands State High School opened in 1998 minutes from the beach in the coastal community of Boyne Island and Tannum Sands.

About the Role This Head of Department position will be suited to an energetic and future-focused individual who has the ability to lead the Faculty to engender excitement and passion in teachers to deliver V9 of the Australian Curriculum and senior Modern History, Legal Studies, and Business in the Humanities subjects.
The preferred candidate will have a strong student-focused approach and the ability to build strong professional relationships with students, teachers, parents, and the community.
They will lead their faculty to co-design and deliver high-quality pedagogy and learning experiences.
As the Head of Department - Humanities, you will:
