MacKillop Catholic College, established in 2012 in the beautiful Palmerston suburb of Johnston, is the largest school in the Northern Territory Catholic Education system. The Humanities department has been a prominent part of the College's subject offering since its inception. You will work with a supportive and professional team of educators, and full induction and support is provided. Our locality is within easily commutable distance of amenities, entertainment, Darwin city and the natural attractions of the NT such as Litchfield and Kakadu national parks. Financial support for relocation is available for interstate applicants.
As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will:

Commitment to the Mission, Vision and ethos of a Catholic School. A willingness to work in a developing College in a fast-growing area of Australia. Has a proven ability to work as part of a collaborative team. Has an excellent teaching record. Qualifications in teaching Humanities. Highly developed organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills. Holds or is able to gain registration from the NT Teachers Registration Board and an Ochre Card (working with Children). Catholic Education Northern Territory requires all of its employees to abide by its policy documentation around safeguarding children and Sharer's of the Vision. This position requires the successful completion of a 6-month probation process.
