We invite applications for the role of LSODE Secondary Head of Department (Curriculum) for Year 7-10.
This is a temporary full-time position starting in January 2025 and ending December 2025.
The LSODE Head of Department Curriculum will be working with 2 other Heads of Department based at Charleville SDE and Mount Isa School of the Air.
The focus of this position will be threefold: Curriculum, Engagement, and Pedagogy.
Ability to work in a team and have excellent communication skills is essential, as you will be working across the Secondary 7-10 space across three schools in the Western Alliance.
Experience in the Distance Education environment would be advantageous as you would understand the intricacies of the role.

Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
A mandatory requirement of this role is:
Current full registration, or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
