Your New Role Life Without Barriers has determined that transformation of its business processes and decision support capability is an important strategic initiative. It will require significant investment in new systems to support the transformation and is expected to be undertaken over multiple years. The roadmap has been developed and now requires business case development and then implementation. A core pillar within this transformation is data – this includes the need for a new data operating model, new architecture, better data governance/management and a significant uplift in resourcing.
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you'll be responsible for executing on the Data and Analytics (D&A) strategy and elevating the organisation's assets to drive value for business stakeholders. This includes the execution of related programs and practices that drive measurable business outcomes. This role involves establishing, leading and operating the D&A function; developing talent and maturing the D&A maturity and culture; building trust and managing data; and evolving technology capabilities.
You'll play a key role in tracking the business impact of D&A by linking use cases to business outcomes (e.g., client impact, financial sustainability, risk reduction/compliance and client satisfaction). You'll also be responsible for delivering insights for action, measuring data quality and tracking data literacy levels. Critically, you'll build partnerships with executive leadership to understand business drivers and the insights required to improve business decision making at all levels across the business.
Your Background & Experience Extensive end to end experience in a similar Head of Data or Data & Analytics Manager role with multiple key stakeholders and priorities;Proven experience in managing and leading cross functional teams to deliver enterprise-wide data and analytics transformation programs, operating and influencing effectively across a large organisation;You'll have high levels of curiosity and desire to learn about the business and how data can help. You'll lean into the humanistic side of the role and be mission aligned to Life Without Barriers;Strong leadership skills, with proven track record building and elevating teams;Proven experience implementing data governance;Ability to drive organisation-wide initiatives and strong organisational, planning and prioritising ability;The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including executive level stakeholders, peers, employees and external organisations;Proven problem-solving skills, and ability to think laterally and strategically;Proven ability to communicate well at all levels of the organisation.How to Apply For more information, please call Steven Fulop at u&u Recruitment Partners on 0418 994 446 quoting reference number 39618.
