Are you looking for an opportunity where you can drive data innovation and strategy while balancing leadership and technical expertise? Pioneer Credit is looking for a Head of Data and Analytics to join our Senior Leadership team within the Perth CBD office.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of data-driven initiatives to enhance Pioneer's performance and decision-making, leveraging advanced analytics, data science, and business intelligence.
About this opportunity: Be the lead advocate for data-driven decision making and best practice data culture. Establish and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Identify and mitigate risks associated with data management and analytics activities. Plan resources effectively and coach team members to ensure that stakeholder delivery requirements are met. Collaborate with Senior Leadership and key stakeholders to ensure that data solutions are delivered effectively and fit for purpose. Be accountable to plan, coordinate, and deliver business projects with effective change management. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis, helping them make informed decisions and drive business growth. Manage external provider relationships and negotiate effectively to achieve the best outcome for the business. To be successful in this role: At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Ability to think strategically and engage with stakeholders across a business to achieve optimal outcomes. Ability to lead technical professionals and bring together the technical and non-technical elements of business delivery. Experience leading business projects from inception to delivery within best practice frameworks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies. Financial Services experience is desirable. Your application will include the following questions:
