Teaching - Secondary (Education & Training) Full time The School is seeking a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and innovative Head of Dance and Drama to join our School in 2025.
This ongoing appointment is 1.0 FTE commencing in 2025.
The start date is negotiable.
The successful candidate will oversee and lead the development of an engaging and dynamic curriculum that focuses on helping students reach their potential in Dance and Drama.
The role is also responsible for the production of performances, showcasing dance and drama.
Heads of Department must contribute to the enhancement of the status of the School and that of their Learning Area.
They provide a valuable role model to other staff and are a vital component in the positive development of the culture of the school.
Therefore, their prime responsibility is the overall wellbeing of the school and then to provide leadership and management in their particular area of responsibility.
Previous leadership experience of a Dance and Drama Department, including development and implementation of the Dance and Drama Curriculum across various dance and drama contexts, is desirable.
