Teaching - Secondary (Education & Training) Wadja Wadja High School is a Yr. 7-12 secondary school with a passion for quality teaching and learning servicing the Indigenous community of Woorabinda, approximately 179 kms southwest of Rockhampton. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Junior High School HOC to join our close-knit team. This role is part-time, permanent for 1 year with an additional 1 year, commencing in Term 1, 2025, with NES probationary periods applicable. Ability to work as a member of a committed culturally diverse team of professionals dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the Aboriginal community. Ability to apply patient and proficient approaches in building relationships with students. Ability to collaborate and work positively as part of a professional learning community. Willingness to change and develop instructional strategies to increase student growth and achievement. Experience and/or an interest in teaching Indigenous students would be highly advantageous. Ability to cater and make adjustments for students with disabilities. What We Offer: Competitive salary range: $97,429 - $144,126.
