The successful applicant will ideally possess exceptional interpersonal, organisational and management skills to complement their outstanding leadership capabilities.As a key member of the school's leadership team, it is highly recommended that you will have had recent experience leading The Arts or Technologies in a similar context. You should provide advice and guidance to the Executive Team regarding organisational and operational changes to enhance students' achievement. The ability to analyse student performance data and use this in planning is critical.In collaboration with the Principal and members of the administrative team, the Head of Curriculum – The Arts and Technologies should provide educational leadership in the school and the community by developing and promoting the school vision and encouraging school staff, volunteers from the community and others to share ownership of the school's vision and goals in The Arts and Technologies learning areas.The successful applicant will ideally provide a leadership role across the school in developing and implementing a whole school approach to student learning in The Arts and Technologies contexts. Responsibilities may include the planning, actioning, and reviewing of the various contexts delivered across the school, as well as developing strategies and learning programs to ensure engagement and improved learning outcomes for students. A thorough understanding of curriculums and pathways is highly regarded.
