The AP Brand Creative team is responsible for bringing imaginative work to life while building awareness for our brand and products. The team consists of creatives and producers who translate GTM strategy into powerful and purposeful creative that inspires and equips customers to live better financial lives using Afterpay. As the Creative Leader, you will oversee the development of exceptional creative responses for key projects, including brand campaigns, product marketing, sales campaigns, and consumer campaigns with top retailers. The team handles both consumer-led and B2B initiatives, delivering outstanding results across multiple mediums such as ATL, CRM, VM, partnerships, sponsorships, digital marketing, website development, social media, content creation, and more.You will empower agency partners and embedded creatives across AU, NZ, UK, and CA to execute high-quality work while ensuring exceptional brand consistency across all touchpoints. As a passionate storyteller and hands-on leader, you will craft marketing narratives that put our customers at the center and articulate the relevance and practical application of our customer value proposition at scale. In this role, you'll also mentor and manage a creative team, fostering collaboration across Afterpay to launch creative experiences that drive our mission, business, and brand forward. Reporting to the Head of Creative, Cash App (Brand & Integrated Marketing) based in NYC, you'll support the Brand Creative team and partner with the INT Marketing and Trade team while managing a team of Creative Directors, designers, and writers.You WillManage and/or influence creative direction for all INT marketing / Trade campaignsTranslate GTM strategy into powerful and purposeful creative that inspires customers and deepens understandingCollaborate with global peers to establish cohesive brand aesthetics and creative direction across external platformsWork with writers to develop language that is clear and effectiveSet and meet deadlines for various projects; oversee creative from agenciesEvaluate trends, assess new data and keep up-to-date with marketing techniquesBuild and manage a team of talented creatives while fostering an inclusive design communityPartner with cross-functional peers to establish and define the brand marketing strategy, OKRs and roadmapsWork with partners across Afterpay to guarantee an integrated brand experienceYou Have15+ years of experience as a creative6+ years of management experienceStrong sense of both product and brand realmsExceptional conceptual, copy and design skillsExperience translating established brands into new expressions and spacesExperience with advertising and the product development processClear point of view on creative and an openness to new ideasAbility to lead and oversee multiple, simultaneous integrated marketing campaignsUnderstanding of how to leverage creativity to meet business goalsPassion for recruiting, motivating, and managing a team of experienced creativesComposure in the face of ambiguity and an ability to effectively work with multiple leadership stylesAn action bias and intense desire to solve problemsUnmatched attention to detail and due diligenceA bias towards transparency and communicationA generous dose of humilityExtreme empathy for the customer, your teammates, and the company missionFor consideration, please submit a portfolio of work with your application and provide the password, if necessary to view your work.We're working to build a more inclusive economy where our customers have equal access to opportunity, and we strive to live by these same values in building our workplace.
