The Role As the Head of Corporate Systems at Telstra Health, your leadership is instrumental in advancing the company's vision of delivering connected and improved digital health experiences. By leading and influencing the strategy and direction of corporate systems, you play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness across the organisation.
Key responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, setting clear goals, and promoting continuous improvement and effective communication. Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, identify opportunities for cost saving and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and financial policies. Provide strategic direction and leadership in the development and implementation of corporate systems strategy, aligning with business objectives and priorities to drive operational excellence. Manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and service providers, evaluating their performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring alignment with business objectives, service level agreements (SLAs) and other agreed metrics. Define and maintain the technology roadmap for corporate systems, identifying opportunities for innovation, modernisation, and automation to improve business processes and support growth. Oversee the implementation, configuration, and integration of corporate systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory standards. Lead change management initiatives related to the adoption of new corporate systems, working closely with stakeholders to communicate changes, address concerns, and drive user adoption and satisfaction. Establish and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for the management of corporate systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, security standards, and data protection laws. Monitor the performance and effectiveness of corporate systems, conducting regular reviews, audits, and assessments to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement. Manage and develop a high-performing team of professionals responsible for corporate systems, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Oversee and advise on the design, build and maintenance of multiple systems and their interaction with Telstra Health processes and systems. The candidate must meet the requirements to obtain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency Baseline Security Clearance. Australian citizenship is essential for this application. About you: Broad experience in technology cost management. Experience in managing offshore vendors and their performance. Experience in managing corporate systems, its implementation adoption and lifecycle management. Experience in managing people leaders and working through others. Broad experience in finance and pricing, commercial acumen and business acumen. Demonstrable experience managing partners and vendors.
