In this influential role, you will set the strategic vision and lead a high-performing team to elevate the organisation's voice and brand.
As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will craft impactful messaging, drive comprehensive communications and marketing strategies, and build meaningful engagement with diverse audiences.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead transformative initiatives across media relations, digital strategy, internal communications, and community engagement.
You will be at the forefront of advancing its mission and values, championing compelling narratives, and fostering a cohesive and influential public presence.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer you will be responsible for: Media and Community Engagement: Develop and implement a comprehensive external communications strategy to enhance community trust and visibility, working closely with senior leaders.
Provide proactive media support and effective responses to key issues.Internal Communications: Oversee the development of an internal communications strategy that fosters engagement and strong relationships across the organisation, partnering with leaders to promote clear and effective information-sharing.Digital Marketing and Social Media: Lead the organisation's digital strategy, including website management, social media, and digital marketing efforts to establish and maintain a strong online presence.Publications: Oversee the production of the organisation's magazine, ensuring that content aligns with organisational values and reaches a broad audience.Brand and Content Management: Maintain consistent brand standards across the organisation, acting as a brand champion and overseeing the production of marketing materials, annual reports, and other branded content.Marketing and Events: Develop marketing campaigns to promote services, plan major events, and support leaders in enhancing community engagement.Team Leadership: Manage a team of professionals, fostering a positive, service-oriented work environment and supporting professional growth.Essential Qualifications and Skills You will bring strategic and inspiring leadership to the team, combined with a commitment to fostering meaningful relationships across the organisation.
With a collaborative approach and strong business acumen, you will act as a trusted advisor, providing wise counsel on communications and marketing strategies that enhance the brand and community engagement.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience leading communications and marketing in complex organisationsProven expertise in digital marketing, campaign management, and content strategyStrong media relations and public relations acumen, with a history of effective engagementOur client values growth, collaboration, and integrity, and are committed to creating a supportive environment where your expertise can thrive.
