The Role: As the Head of Commercial Sales at Ultra Football, you will spearhead our commercial sales strategy, driving revenue growth while ensuring our brand's ethos and passion for football are reflected in every business decision. This is a pivotal leadership role reporting directly to the General Manager that requires a blend of commercial acumen, strategic sales, and a genuine love for the game of football.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive commercial and sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets, while aligning with our mission to take football forward in Australia. Lead and manage the commercial team to achieve sales targets and profitability across retail, online and teamwear segments. Collaborate closely with key brand partners to drive mutually beneficial partnerships and meet established goals and metrics. Lead market analysis and research to identify trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.  Oversee the financial performance of each channel, implementing strategies to optimise revenue and minimise costs. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable commercial terms and agreements. Collaborate to drive marketing and promotional initiatives to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition. Provide strategic guidance to support the long-term sustainability and success of the business.  Qualifications: Proven experience in a senior commercial role, preferably within the retail or sports industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving business goals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and the community. Exceptional commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities, with a proven track record of driving business growth and efficiency. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.  Innovative thinker with the ability to identify and act on emerging trends and opportunities. Deep understanding and passion for football, its culture, and its development, particularly within the Australian context. Skills: Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
