Purpose of the Role To lead and manage the delivery of marketing and business development strategies in the Consulting Solutions (CS) Line of Business to achieve market leading brand, share and relationships in the firm's chosen markets and industries. Duties & Responsibilities The main areas this position is responsible for include: Lead the CS Line of Business (LOB), working collaboratively with senior leaders including LOB Managing Partner (MP), Business Unit Leaders (BULs) and other client facing professionals in the development and implementation of firm wide, integrated marketing and business development plans, including identifying meaningful avenues to profile the firm's expertise, proactive development of pipeline pursuits and target opportunities that support the achievement of the business strategy. Support Partners to assess sales opportunities, value propositions, solution development, formulate client responses and manage key pursuits to support growth objectives. Provide leadership, coaching, feedback and development to Client & Market Growth (CMG) team members, building a high performance culture where team members are engaged and inspired to work to their full potential, including as part of the broader CMG team. Role model collaboration across teams and work in partnership with CMG senior leaders and teams to achieve shared goals and optimise client and stakeholder outcomes that lead to the creation of better business solutions and outcomes. Collaborate with the CS Business Operations Leadership Team (BOLT) team members to support the CS LOB MP and CS BULs deliver strategic objectives. Use data to identify strategic trends, insights, opportunities, share learnings and drive informed decisions and solutions on marketing strategy and planning. Support Partners to engage with and deliver on the firm's industry strategy and collaborate effectively on key whole of firm cross cutting themes. Measure, assess and report on the effectiveness of marketing and business development initiatives including identifying trends and opportunities for improvement in future activities/programs. Actively build and foster collaborative and trusted relationships with internal and external networks. Support the growth of business development skills across the client facing professionals through formal and informal coaching and guiding of interactions with clients and networks. Provide thought leadership on strategic projects and share insights from internal and external networks to craft insights, advice and solutions that deliver commercial value for our clients and stakeholders. Minimum Requirements Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role in business development/marketing; preferably within a top tier professional services environment. Qualification in marketing, commerce, communications, business or a related discipline. Proven track record successfully identifying and delivering on business development opportunities. Experience leading teams, fostering a collaborative and positive environment. Experience in B2 B BD/marketing role with a focus on product and/or segment management, BD planning, campaign development, communications and project management. Strong skills managing complex and diverse senior stakeholder expectations and interests and ability to influence across organisational boundaries to achieve results. Commercially focused with strong analytical, planning and project management skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Highly proactive with identifying cross firm opportunities and client service focus. Commitment to a 'one CMG' mindset and working effectively as one team.
