About the role You will be responsible for the effective leadership of the Corrections Education to achieve service delivery requirements and key performance indicators. This role will ensure a cooperative approach to contract delivery and resolving challenges.
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive TAFE you will:
manage stakeholder engagement between Federation and Department of Justice and Community Safety, local prison management and other Department business units; andtake leadership of delivering contract commitments including quality and curriculum maintenance, finances, and human resourcing across both regions.About you You will use your initiative and advanced problem-solving skills to achieve results, managing competing priorities in a complex operating environment, influencing and negotiating to deliver positive outcomes focusing on customer service and stakeholder responsiveness.
You will have demonstrated:
experience in senior management of vocational education and training delivery within a complex setting;expertise in strategic planning and operational implementation;the ability to lead and manage staff, embedding a positive, safe and inclusive workplace culture; andcapability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and make a significant contribution to Federation's strategic objectives.Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) or hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)A security clearance as required under the contractual obligations with Corrections Victoria.How to apply Please apply by Sunday, 14 July 2024 Applicants are required to submit a resume and a suitability statement not to exceed two pages.
